Committee of Islamic Family Affairs (CIFA) is a non-profit Muslim community body based in, and operating within, Australia.
CIFA Aims:
Its aim is to provide a team of Islamic religious scholars to facilitate healthy relations amongst various members of a Muslim family by providing personally taliored religious advice from scholars of Islam for the following important stages of a marriage life:
- Provide a team of Islamic religious scholars to officiate in – and effect – the procedure of divorce, an in particular the khula and faskh of Nikah.
- Provide Islamic guidance and advice in selecting a suitable marriage spouse, pre-marriage advice on how to optimise the blessings in a marriage and also advice for testing times in a marital relationship.
- Provide Islamic guidance and advice related to the religious aspect of parenting a child, especially in their youth.
